Highest Ranks
Leading Dogs- The Leading Dogs are those who run the Pack in an orderly manner as best as they possibly can. They are the highest ranking dogs in the pack and are to be respected at all times by all of the Pack Members. The Leading Dogs sometime take on patrols around the Island.
Shepherds- There is one Shepherd per Leading Dog. They are second in command and help the Leading Dogs with important decisions. They are also to be respected by the Pack. The some times lead patrols.
Intermediate Ranks
Guards- There are two Guards in the Pack. They are noted as Lead or Head Defenders within the Pack. These dogs are appointed by the Leading Dogs based on their ability to fight. These dogs lead the pack or the Defenders into battle. Guards are to be respected in the Pack.
Huntsmen- There are two Huntsmen in the Pack. These dogs are noted as Leading or Head Prey Catchers. The Pack depends on Huntsmen to lead the Prey Hunters into a hunt to bring the rest of the Pack prey to feast on. These dogs are to be respected within the Pack.
Normal Ranks
Defenders- There are an unlimited number of Defenders in the pack. Their job is to protect the members of the pack when a threat occurs. These dogs have a talent for fighting. Defenders are Lead into battle by the Guards of the Pack.
Prey Catchers- There are an unlimited number of Prey Catchers in the Pack. Their job is to hunt and kill prey in order to feed the Pack. These Dogs have a talent for hunt and stalking prey. They are Lead into hunts by the Huntsmen of the Pack.
Chiefs- The Chiefs are the Elders of the Pack. These dogs are normally 7 years old or older. They are the wide dogs on the island having lived there for many years. They know the Lands like the back of their paws.
Trainees- Trainees are pups who are learning to either become a Defender or a Prey Catcher of the Pack. They receive a Trainer at 7 months old and train until they are 1 year old.
Pups- Pups are of course the puppies of the Pack. They range in age from new born pups to pups who are 6 month old. Their job is to learn the ways of the pack.
